Standards

What gets in, and why.

The ceiling

Public titles currently stop at PG-13. Anything harder sits in the review queue until an editor watches it. Auto-curation never publishes above that line.

What we refuse

Gratuitous sex, cynical violence, and language that would embarrass a dinner table. We also refuse content that mocks faith as a matter of course. A hard true story is not the same thing as a cheap thrill.

How a title is admitted

  1. A source syncs (Angel, Pure Flix, Netflix, and the rest).
  2. Machine filters apply: rating, IMDb floor, keyword blocklist.
  3. An editor watches or listens and writes the PureRated note.
  4. Deep links are checked so “Open in Netflix” actually opens that title.

Notes we publish

IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes for context, Common Sense age, and a five-point content grid covering integrity, sensuality, language, violence, and substances. The grid is a map, not a substitute for a parent.
