It is an adaptation of Dick King-Smith’s 1983 novel The Sheep-Pig, which tells the story of a farm pig who wants to do the work of a sheepdog. The film is narrated by Roscoe Lee Browne and the main animal characters are played by both real animals and animatronic puppets.

Like the book, it centers on a pig named Wilbur who befriends an intelligent spider named Charlotte who saves him from being slaughtered.

Directed by Gary Winick and written by Susannah Grant and Karey Kirkpatrick, it is the second film adaptation and remake of E. B. White’s book since the 1973 animated feature film produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The film stars Dakota Fanning, Kevin Anderson, and Beau Bridges, and features the voices of Dominic Scott Kay, Julia Roberts, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Oprah Winfrey, Thomas Haden Church, André Benjamin, Cedric the Entertainer, Kathy Bates, Reba McEntire, Robert Redford, and Sam Shepard as the narrator. Danny Elfman composed the film’s score.

    Paddington is a 2014 live-action animated comedy film written and directed by Paul King. It was developed from a story by King and Hamish McColl, which was based on the stories of the character Paddington Bear created by Michael Bond. Produced by David Heyman, Paddington stars Ben Whishaw as the voice of the title character, with Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, and Nicole Kidman in live-action roles. The film follows Paddington, an anthropomorphic bear who migrates from the jungles of “Darkest Peru” to the streets of London, where he meets the Brown family, unaware he is being pursued by a taxidermist.

    Christopher Robin is a 2018 American live-action animated fantasy comedy drama film inspired by the children’s book series Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne illustrated by E. H. Shepard, and a live-action/CGI follow-up to the Disney franchise. The film was directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Alex Ross Perry, Tom McCarthy and Allison Schroeder. Ewan McGregor stars as the title character, alongside Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn, with the voices of Jim Cummings, Nick Mohammed as Piglet, and Brad Garrett as Eeyore. The story follows Christopher Robin, now an adult, who has lost his sense of imagination, only to be reunited with his childhood friend Winnie the Pooh, whom he must escort back to the Hundred Acre Wood to find his friends.
