Sesame Street
Sesame Street is an American educational children’s television series that combines live-action, sketch comedy, animation, and puppetry. It is produced by Sesame Workshop and was created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett. It is known for its images communicated through the use of Jim Henson’s Muppets, and includes short films, with humor and cultural references. It premiered on November 10, 1969, to positive reviews, some controversy, and high viewership. It has aired on the United States national public television provider PBS since its debut, with its first run moving to premium channel HBO on January 16, 2016, then its sister streaming service HBO Max on November 12, 2020, which continued through the service’s rebrand as Max in 2023 and as HBO Max in 2025, and most recently Netflix on November 10, 2025.

Wild Kratts
Wild Kratts is a Canadian educational children’s television series that uses a hybrid of live action and animation. The series was created by the Kratt brothers, zoologists Chris and Martin, and produced by The Kratt Brothers Company and 9 Story Media Group, with it airing by TVOKids in Canada, and PBS Kids in the United States. The show’s aim is to educate children about species, biology, zoology, and ecology, and how small actions can have a big impact. It has ties to the Kratts’ previous shows, Kratts’ Creatures and Zoboomafoo, and features several characters from the latter.

Nature Cat
Nature Cat is an educational animated children’s television series that aired from November 25, 2015, to January 2, 2024, on PBS Kids and is aimed at children aged 4 to 8. The series follows the adventures of four main characters, Nature Cat, Hal the Dog, Daisy the Bunny, and Squeeks the Mouse. The show has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program”. The series debut in November achieved nearly 3.7 million viewers, and by March it has achieved 69 million video streams across online platforms.

Odd Squad
Odd Squad is a Canadian/American children’s live action television series that premiered on TVOKids in Canada and PBS Kids in the United States on November 26, 2014, both on the same day. The series is created by Tim McKeon and Adam Peltzman and is co-produced by The Fred Rogers Company and Sinking Ship Entertainment in association with TVOKids and Ici Radio-Canada Télé. The series features young agents who use indirect reasoning and math to solve and investigate strange happenings in their town. This is commonly in the form of satire, or other comedic archetypes, and are used to teach the audience differing lessons in mathematics. In the UK it airs on CBBC and Pop. In Latin America it airs on Discovery Kids.
