Angels in the Outfield was released by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution on July 15, 1994. The film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $50.2 million against a $31 million budget. It was followed by two made for TV sequels, Angels in the Endzone and Angels in the Infield.
